Why has a convention of states never been called since the US Constitution was ratified? I mean it does include Article V, which does include information on amending the Constitution, but no other constitutional convention has ever been called Why? The State Senate may take up SR 152, a dangerous proposal calling for a constitutional convention. Even the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia opposed such a convention. An all-out attack on US sovereignty is underway. The Biden Administration has proposed amendments to give the World Health Organization the power to declare a health emergency in the United States as well as the other 193 member states of the United Nations. A “public health crisis” can include gun violence or climate change and the declaration rests solely with the personal opinion of the WHO Director-General. This power grab must be stopped.
