This weekend is “Pittsburgh Pride.”
Vendors at Pride Fest include ACLU, Adagio Health, Adultmart, Allegheny County Department of Human Services, American Cancer Society, AT&T, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Community College of Allegheny County, Cruze Bar, East Liberty Presbyterian Church, Friendly’s Catering, FCKH8, HIV Treatment and Prevention Program, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh, Lange Financial Group, Lutherans for Full Inclusion, McDonalds, Peace Corps, Planned Parenthood of Western PA, Point Park University, Shepherd Wellness Community, The Church of the Redeemer (Squirrel Hill), T-Mobile, US Attorney’s Office (Western District of PA), Walnut Capital Management, Wicked Life Clothing and others.
Many misguided organizations associated with the healthcare industry are either vendors or sponsors. As former Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Matt Foreman, acknowledged several years ago, “HIV is a gay disease.” Yet the healthcare industry is promoting a very dangerous lifestyle and even providing HIV and sexually transmitted disease testing rather than warning of the dangers of engaging in homosexual activity!
The festival began at noon today and includes “family friendly crafts and inflatable attractions, free STI and HIV testing and free Biometrics screening.” The point being: The organizers are attempting to portray this festival as something to bring the entire family, when in actuality it should be avoided at all cost!
Tomorrow a “Rise Up for Our Rights Rally” will precede the EQT Equality March in Pittsburgh. The purpose is to “elevate the LGBT community, advocate for our causes, and rally to show our strength.” Homosexual activists will be joined by one of their major allies in Pittsburgh — Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald!

Action Steps
There is no question that we live in a fallen world and God is being mocked. Pray for those who have bought into the lie that they are born ‘gay’ or transgender and that ‘gay is okay.’ Pray for those who are misleading them, in some cases knowingly! Pray for the parents who think it’s okay to take their children to such activities. Pray for the churches /leaders that are involved in promoting this sin. They will have much to answer for when they stand before the judgment seat of God.
