Issue
Tell Reps to Oppose Trans Day of Visibility
Details
On Tuesday seven pro-LGBTQ bills were voted out of the State House Judiciary Committee along party line votes – more on those next week!
However, last month State Representative Ismail Smith-Wade-El (D-Lancaster) began circulating a co-sponsorship memo to recognize March 31 as “Trans Day of Visibility”. Yesterday the bill was officially introduced as HR 433.
Instead of setting a day aside to “help affirm the dignity and contributions of transgender people across Pennsylvania”, they should consider the underlying issues as to why an individual would begin identifying as transgender. This is yet another example of how far the Democrat Party has gone in their support of males in female sports, males in female private spaces, males in female prisons, so-called ‘gender-affirming’ care of minors which result in hormone treatments and cutting off healthy body parts.
Action Steps:
Contact your State Rep and ask him or her to NOT support HR 433.
