AFA of PA President to Speak at News Conference in Front of Supreme Court

(Harrisburg) — AFA of PA President Diane Gramley will join other pro-family leaders from across the nation at the steps of the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27th. This is the day before the Court hears oral arguments on the marriage case pending before them.

“The Supreme Court would have to twist our Constitution into a pretzel in order to find a constitutional right to so-called same-sex marriage,” commented Diane Gramley.

She will join the other fourteen speakers in continuing the call for Elena Kagan and Ruth Bader Ginsburg to recuse themselves from the marriage case. Each has presided over same-sex “marriages” and in a February interview with Bloomberg, Ginsburg said America was ready for same-sex “marriage.” Their ability to review this case in an unbiased manner is highly questionable.

Gramley will speak of the lie that the entire push for same-sex “marriage” and special rights for homosexuals is based upon and ask whether the Court will bow to the 2 percent who identify as homosexual in the United States and redefine the corner stone of civilization.

Will this case be the Roe v Wade of marriage? Will the Court ignore the true intent of the Fourteenth Amendment and twist it, as federal judges have, to force all 50 states to recognize and issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples? If that happens the citizens of the United States will lose all confidence in the Supreme Court and the country will be thrown into chaos. If, in June, the Court decides to ignore all legal precedence and forces same-sex “marriage” on the country that will not be the end of the debate. Even as Roe v Wade did not end the debate on abortion, a wrong decision on marriage in June will not end the debate on marriage.

” Legalization of so-called same-sex marriage means a loss of religious freedom. Will this Court rewrite the First Amendment and open the door for Christian bakers, florists, and photographers to lose their religious freedom, their right of conscience, when they refuse to participate in a same-sex “wedding” using their God-given gifts? If we no longer have the religious freedom guaranteed in the First Amendment, how long before the other four rights outlined in this Amendment are taken away?” Gramley questioned.
