House Passes Voter ID and Stock Trading Ban
Details
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation that would prohibit members of Congress and their immediate families from trading individual stocks while also requiring photo identification for voting in federal elections.
The bill passed by a vote of 232-198, with 13 Democrats joining Republicans in support.
Unfortunately, no Pennsylvania Democrat crossed over to join the Republicans in voting for the bill!
Pennsylvania’s delegation voted: all GOP for the bill and all Democrats voted against the bill! That should tell us all something about the Democrats – not that we needed anymore evidence that their positions are not in the best interest of America!

Contact your US Representative and let him or her know your thoughts on this recent vote on HR 7008 – the Stop Insider Trading Act. If you do not know who your US Representative is, please contact the AFA of PA.
