Philadelphia Mayor and City Council Attack Those Who Support Religious Freedom

On April 9th Mayor Michael Nutter and each Philadelphia City Council member signed onto “An Open Letter to Those Affected by Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) Laws.” It touts the city’s “inclusiveness” and invites those who feel discriminated against in the twenty states that have RFRA laws to relocate to Philadelphia. Yesterday the AFA of PA faxed a letter to Mayor Nutter and each of the City Council members expressing disbelief that such a letter would originate from the city where the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution was signed.
