State Senate Finance Committee Votes SB 300 Out – Ask Your Senator to Support

On Wednesday the State Senate  Finance Committee voted SB 300 out by a vote of  7-5.   The bill would make public health entities the top priority for taxpayer funding, followed by private hospitals and federally-qualified community health centers, and put abortion groups like Planned Parenthood at the end of the list.   This prioritizing of spending would, in essence, defund Planned Parenthood.  Those who oppose the bill call it “an attack on women and family health.”
