Issue
Senate State Government Committee to Hold Another Hearing on Parental Rights bill
Details
On Monday, October 24 at 10:45 a.m. the Senate State Government Committee will hold another hearing on the Parental Rights Protection Act – SB 996. It will be held in Room 8E-A in the East Wing. It will be live-streamed here
There is no question that parental rights are being infringed upon on almost a daily basis. Schools are allowing students to “socially transition” in schools, calling them by their preferred pronouns and, in some cases, even having closets where students can change into clothes that reflect their professed “gender identity” – all without a parent’s knowledge. Offensive books in school libraries, boys in girls’ locker and shower rooms, the teaching of critical race theory name only a few issues found at schools alone! Too many times parents are hauled off into court or have their children taken from them simply because of an overzealous social worker! And, now we have a Department of Justice that calls concerned parents at school board meetings ‘domestic terrorists’!
