Thank This Vermont Christian School and Pray for Nashville

As you may recall a Christian school in Vermont forfeited a game during a girls’ basketball tournament because the opposing team had a player who was a biological male identifying as a female. Obviously this gave the other team an advantage and placed the players on the Christian school’s team in danger of injury. The Christian school issued the following statement:
“We believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players. Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general.”
In bygone years, such a statement would not be controversial; however, we are living in 2023 and that statement is VERY controversial to some.
The Vermont Principals’ Association announced that Mid Vermont Christian School is henceforth banned from all future tournaments for “violating the association’s policies on race, gender and disability awareness.”
Action Steps
Contact the Mid Vermont Christian School and thank them for their brave stand on Biblical principles. Also, pray that after this ban from future tournaments parents will stand with the school and not pull their children out.

By now we have all heard of the shooting at the Covenant School in Nashville, TN. This school was specifically targeted because of its Biblical beliefs on sexuality. The alleged shooter was identified a former female student who began identifying as a male. Pray for the families of the three nine year-old students and the staff members who were killed; pray for the surviving students and staff as well as their families. Without prayer, this can have a tremendous negative impact on the school. Please pray for Nashville.
