Walmart and Queer Eye
Details
This from a February 2013 out.com article: “ . . . if Walmart doesn’t start evolving in LGBT issues, they may see the beginning of a long decline into the dustbin in companies who failed to change with the times.” Just think, this line in the article comes AFTER Walmart had joined the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in 2006; began offering books promoting ‘homosexual marriage,’ donated to LGBT groups and causes. Unfortunately, Walmart has become more ‘gay-friendly’ in recent years, especially with the diminished influence of the Walton family. For example, in 2014 they gave a major grant to the Victory Fund, a group that helps elect openly homosexual candidates, and in June of the same year they ran a full page pro-LGBT ad in the New York City Pride Guide. In 2019 Walmart ran an online ad as part of a campaign called “Love is in the aisle: A dating show at Walmart”, which featured two homosexual men on a “blind date” as they meet at the store and shop together to discover whether or not they are compatible.
Now in 2021 Walmart is offering the Queer Eye Home Collection. Don’t know what Netflix’s Queer Eye is? Here’s some info:
One of the show’s actors shows off the home he shares with his “husband.”
Queer Eye actor Tan France announces he and his “husband” are expecting their first child. Check out the sonogram!
