Don’t forget Tuesday, May 8th is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the May 15th election. If you are ill or will be out of your voting precinct on May 15th, you may apply for an absentee ballot. You have to apply for an absentee ballot at your county’s voter registration office. You can either get the form from them or fill out the form online, print it off and return it to your voter registration office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 8th. The applications must be in their office by 5:00 p.m., postmarks don’t count. They will then mail your absentee ballot and for civilian ballots they must be back in the voter registration office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday May 11th!

If you are going to be out of your voting precinct or are ill, you can fill out the online form to mail in to your county registration office. Fill out the form online, print it if off and hand deliver or mail the application to your country voter registration office. Click here for contact info for country registration offices. Remember the absentee ballot application must be in their county office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 8th and completed absentee ballots must be back in the same office by 5:00 p.m. on May 11th.
