Rather than use the old bill numbers for the bills that will take away the religious freedom of Christian business owners who do not want to use their God-given talents to affirm same-sex so-called marriage, liberals in Harrisburg are using a new tactic. They are NOT using the numbers HB 300 and SB 300, but instead placing the language of those bills into new bill numbers — SB 974 and HB 1510. Both these bills, if passed, will add “sexual orientation, gender identity or expression” to the PA Human Relations Act which deals with employment, housing and public accommodations.
The supporters of these bills are saying homosexuals can be fired simply for coming out as “gay.” According to them, homosexuals can be thrown out of their apartments: “Simply because of who they love.” Are any of these accusations true? They provide not one shred of evidence!
