The Democrats are livid that the Supreme Court is even considering overturning Roe v Wade. If we doubted how extremely pro-abortion that party is, their response to the leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion last week proves it.
The day after last Monday’s leak of the Supreme Court document, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) introduced S 4132, the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022. How radical is this bill? It will eliminate state laws which
- Require waiting periods before an abortion
- Require an ultrasound before an abortion
- Require parents of minors being notified and consent from parents before an abortion
- Require informed consent before an abortion
- Require hospital admitting privileges for the abortionist
It will ban any restriction on abortion procedures prior to “fetal viability” and permits partial-birth abortion. The bill specifically says access to an abortion “shall not be limited or otherwise infringed”.
The blood of over 60 million babies is on the hands of the nation now, how many more would die if this bill becomes law?
Action Steps
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will force a cloture vote on this bill today! Sixty votes will be required in order for the bill to be brought forward for debate and a final vote.
