AFA of PA ACTION ALERT

Targeted for Being Pro-Life
Last Thursday night Mark Houck and his wife Ryan-Marie and their seven children went to bed expecting the following day to simply be a ‘normal day’. However, the Department of Justice had a different idea. At 7:00 a.m. Friday morning, 15 vehicles approached the property and over two dozen FBI agents, with guns drawn, came pounding on their door demanding they open it. With pandemonium reigning in the house with seven children screaming in terror, Mark tried to calm things down, but the FBI kept pounding on the door demanding it be opened.
When he opened the door, the FBI came in with rifles pointed at Mark and Ryan-Marie and in various directions throughout the house. They said they had come to arrest Mark and when his wife demanded to see the arrest warrant, she was told they were taking him whether they had one or not. When she insisted this was kidnapping, they said they would get it out of their vehicle.
The children who are standing on the open stairwell, as the FBI had ordered them, were still screaming as they witness their father handcuffed and taken by the FBI.
Who is Mark Houck and what was his horrendous crime that necessitated this early morning attack on his home? Mark founded The Kings’ Men in 2006 and they now have chapters in 16 states outside PA and several internationally. Their goal is to promote healing for those addicted to pornography and to strengthen marriage and family. Mark’s “crime” apparently is that he is also a sidewalk counselor once a week at two Philadelphia abortion mills. He took his 12-year-old son with him several times last year and for weeks one pro-abortion individual targeted the son with obscenities and disgusting comments about Mark.
Repeatedly Mark told him he did not have permission to speak to his son, but his requests were ignored. The man continued to get in Mark’s son’s personal space and during one incident, Mark shoved him and the man fell back. He was not injured, but sued Mark anyway. The lawsuit was thrown out by the District Court of Philadelphia, but Merrick Garland’s DOJ picked it up and is charging Mark with violating the FACE Act, the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, due to an “attack on a patient escort”.
This raid on the Houck’s home last Friday is yet another example of the weaponization of the FBI. Let Mark know you support him by emailing him at email@example.com or calling the organization at 267-980-5507. A GiveSendGo campaign has also been started to help the family with their legal expenses. You can give to this fund here
