Allegheny County Only — Bill to Ban Needed Therapy Moved to Committee
Details
Allegheny County Council Bill No. 11000-19, a bill to ban talk therapy for minors with unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion, has been moved to the county’s Health and Human Services Committee.
The chairman of that committee is John Palmiere
Other members are Pat Catena, Nick Futules, Cindy Kirk, Paul Klein, Bob Macey and Sue Means.
Paul Klein is one of the primary sponsors; no one else on the committee is a co-sponsor. Of the other committee members, it is known that Cindy Kirk and Sue Means oppose the bill.
