The Department That Ignored Kermit Gosnell Gives PA Planned Parenthood Clean Bill of Health!

(Harrisburg) — On Friday the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) reported they had found no evidence that Planned Parenthood abortion clinics in PA were involved in buying or selling fetal tissue – a euphemism for aborted babies’ hearts, brains, kidneys, livers, intact bodies, etc .   The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide pro-life group, notes that this same department, along with the Department of State, repeatedly chose to do nothing despite being faced with evidence of wrongdoing at the Gosnell abortion clinic in Philadelphia.

“Can we really trust the Department of Health when it comes to thoroughly investigating Planned Parenthood? Not likely,” commented Diane Gramley president of the AFA of PA.

On Saturday tens of thousands protested Planned Parenthood at over 300 locations nationwide. Sixteen of those were scheduled to take place in PA alone.  These demonstrations show that the comments from Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of Planned Parenthood in Pennsylvania, that the public does not want elected officials spending time and money on investigations into Planned Parenthood are incorrect.

In 2014 Planned Parenthood PAC endorsed Tom Wolf for PA Governor, donated $1 million, went door to door and make phone calls for his campaign.   In February 2015 Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, noted Tom Wolf was “the first governor in the history of the country who was also a former Planned Parenthood clinic escort.”

“Governor Wolf’s ties to Planned Parenthood as a clinic escort and his re-nomination of Pedro Cortes as Secretary of State, a post he held as Kermit Gosnell continued his gruesome practices in his “house of horrors, should raise questions for anyone who wants a thorough, unbiased investigation into Planned Parenthood in PA. Until such an investigation takes place by a select committee created by leaders in the legislature, questions will remain,” concluded Gramley.
