The confirmation vote on Patrick Bumatay for the Ninth Circuit is scheduled for sometime December 10th. He has never been a judge, so there’s no paper trail to follow to find out exactly where he stands on interpreting the US Constitution. He says he’s an originalist, but is he??

Patrick Bumatay has been nominated to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. There are several troubling aspects to his record that should cause concern to all Americans who believe the Constitution should be interpreted as the Founding Fathers wrote it and not viewed as a living, breathing document that can be changed at the whim of the judicial system.
