So few in this world have the privilege of electing their leaders. Have Americans become complacent when it comes to elections? Have we forgotten the sacrifices that have been made in order to keep us a free nation? Do we just assume that America will always be the home of the free and the brave? Any casual observer can see that in recent years our freedoms have been assaulted and continue to be taken away from us to this day. How many millennials know what it’s like to truly live in a free America without overbearing government regulations on every aspect of our lives? We must always fight to protect our freedoms and for an America that the Founders intended.

Action Alert – Vote on Misnamed Equality Act Scheduled for Friday
HR 5 is a direct assault on our religious liberties, our right of conscience, our freedom of speech, parental rights – to name just a few! This is an effort to rewrite the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which guarantees rights to those with immutable or unchangeable characteristics such as race or ethnicity. HR 5 adds ‘sexual orientation, gender identity or expression,’ so the law would no longer be based on unchangeable characteristics, but simply upon who one feels he or she is at the time!
