Due to the misinterpretation of policy by some military officers, there needs to be a clarification of the Trump/Mattis Transgender Policy making it very clear that those who identify as transgender must live as their biological sex both on and off duty/on and off base. When someone is in the military they are not your own – historically, military regulations regarding personal behavior applied 24/7.

In an attempt to force the State Senate (and all Pennsylvania) to celebrate “gay pride month,” Senator Sharif Street introduced an LGBTQ Resolution. Senate leadership did the right thing and did not bring it forward for a vote. Resolution No. 171 has now been referred to the Senate State Government Committee.

After a long battle, the Trump/Mattis transgender policy has been in place since April 12th. My understanding is this policy requires all military to adhere to standards associated wit their biological sex. Is this being implemented across all branches of the service? Is there some misunderstanding? How’s the military conducting itself during June – gay pride month? How does all this impact our nation’s national security, the military’s mission?
