Action Alert – Is a ‘Convention of States’ What the Nation Needs?
Some conservatives have fallen for the idea that an Article V “Convention of States” would solve all the nation’s problems because amendments could be added to the US Constitution that would “fix” our problems. However, this thinking ignores the fact that many George Soros-funded organizations also want a “Convention of States.”! It also ignores the fact that Article V of the US Constitution does not set down any rules for such a meeting!

The US Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has announced her resignation effective the end of this year. President Trump is considering her replacement from a short list of five – one of which is the open homosexual ambassador to Germany! Also, since President Obama’s first term the US has been a member of the “LGBT Core Group,” a group that pushes for the addition of ‘sexual orientation and gender identity’ in international law.

Pastor Andrew Brunson has ministered in Turkey for 20 years, but two years ago he was put on trial for “Christianization” with the judge trying to link him to terrorist groups that were trying to overthrow the Turkish president. Pastor Brunson spent almost two years in a Turkish prison and months under house arrest. President Trump placed Brunson’s release as one of his priorities and today his efforts produced fruit and Pastor Brunson is on the way back to the United States! President Trump deserves our thanks for his unrelenting efforts on Pastor Brunson’s behalf.
