Action Alert – Ask the Smithsonian to Remove This Racist Statue!
Since the violence in Charlottesville, VA, there has been an uptick in the vandalism of statues of those deemed racist — Robert E. Lee, an unnamed Confederate soldier, Christopher Columbus. Whether these efforts are truly to combat racism or simply being used as a means to destablize the nation are being questioned. However, right in the midst of Washington, DC there remains the image of probably one of the most racist women ever to live in America — Margaret Sanger!

Bridal Boutique is under attack for turning away a lesbian couple who wanted wedding attire for their upcoming “wedding.” The owner believes that marriage is only between one man and one woman and runs her business with those convictions and because of that she is under attack. Her business has received such threatening phone calls that they are now only seeing customers by appointment and have been forced to deactivate their Facebook page!
