News Release: PA’s Two US Senators Vote to Advance Discriminatory Bill

This evening both US Senators from Pennsylvania voted ‘Yea” on advancing S 815 the so-called Employment Non-Discrimination Act or ENDA which is designed to force businesses, including Christian-owned businesses, hospitals and universities, to hire homosexuals and transgenders. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide traditional values group, is extremely disappointed that both PA Senators voted to discriminate against those with deeply held religious beliefs that homosexuality is wrong.

Action Alert: Ask Senators Casey and Toomey to Oppose ENDA

On Monday the US Senate will resume consideration of and vote on S815 — the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). Like so many bills in Washington, DC it sounds so good and wholesome, but nothing could be further from the truth!

Passage of this bill would give special protections to homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders, forcing even Christian employers to hire them or face a fine. It would also have a chilling effect upon the First Amendment rights of those who oppose same-sex marriage and other components of the homosexual agenda.

Action Alert: IRRC Wants Input On Common Core

On September 12th, the PA State Board of Education voted to approve the “Keystone Exams” and adopt what the Board called “state-developed academic standards”. However nothing they adopted changes the goal of Common Core and none of it looks good for PA school districts nor their students.

News Release: Delco Church Makes Right Decision

A Delaware County church has made the right decision in dropping its 93 year charter with the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts’ May 23rd decision to end its long standing ban on boys who identify as homosexual, made less than a year after the policy had been reaffirmed as the best policy, forces churches to confront the immorality the Boy Scouts now embrace. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), supports the decision of the Aldan Union Church and has contacted them affirming that support.

Action Alert: Ask Senators to Oppose This Radical Nominee

October 30th may prove the tipping point for the DC Circuit Court, if one of President Obama’s radical activist nominees is confirmed. Currently the DC Circuit, considered the second highest court in the land, is evenly split between liberals and conservative judges. President Obama seeks to move this court to the left through his nomination of activist judges. Apparently he thought some would view his nominations as “hacks” when he made the announcement in June and then immediately went on the defensive. This court has a very light work load and can perform quite well without additional judges seated.
