Blog Post: If Bruce Jenner is a Woman, Then Rachel Rachel DolezalDolezal is Black

Bruce Jenner is now Caitlyn Jenner because he has decided he is a woman and has taken action to “make it happen.” Rachel Dolezal is a white woman and has decided she is really a black woman and has taken action to “make it happen.”

Jenner identifies as a woman and is taking hormones, has had breast implants, a photo session with Annie Leibovitz, appearing on the front cover of Vanity Fair. Rachel Dolezal has darkened her skin, darkened and curled her hair and claims to be white, black and Native American.

Bruce Jenner has stated that to him life as a woman is primarily a matter of mental state and lifestyle. For Dolezal it is also, apparently, a state of mind and lifestyle. Jenner thinks he’s a woman and is living as one. Dolezal thinks she is African American and is living as one.

The media does not question Jenner, but instead applauds “her” for being true to “herself.” The story is different for Dolezal as the media is asking her point blank whether she is African American.   Jenner’s mother is going along with the lie that Bruce Jenner is a woman saying she is more proud than she was when he won that Olympic gold medal back in 1976. Dolezal’s parents have stepped forward and spoken the truth that her daughter is primarily of German and Czech descent, not African American. Jenner gets a reality TV show, Dolezal is forced to resign from the NAACP. Where is the justice!!

What we’ve seen over the past few days is the logical conclusion for a society that puts feelings ahead of biology, feelings ahead of logic. We have become a society based on feelings. How does such a society operate? Why does the media embrace Jenner’s “transition,” but attack Dolezal’s “transition.”   Why is transgender acceptable, but transracial is not? Maybe Dolezal is just ahead of her time!
