President-Elect Biden Chooses LGBT Activist as Assistant Secretary of Health
(Harrisburg) President-Elect Biden has named PA’s Health Secretary Dr. “Rachel” Levine to be the Assistant Secretary of Health. This gender-confused individual was first confirmed by a Republican-controlled PA Senate in March 2018, after being nominated in 2014 and serving as Acting Secretary of Health until confirmation. Since being nominated by Governor Wolf, Dr. Levine has used the position to further the LGBTQ agenda. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocacy organization, strongly opposed his confirmation as PA Secretary of Health and strongly opposes his confirmation as US Assistant Secretary of Health.
“When Levine was nominated by our Governor, he had served on the board of the homosexual group Equality PA for four years. When President Trump rescinded the previous administration’s “Dear Colleague” letter to every school district in the nation demanding they allow boys in girls’ bathrooms, locker and shower rooms, Levine took part in an ‘emergency’ round table discussion convened by another homosexual group condemning the recission of the dangerous policy. Pennsylvanians have suffered and continue to suffer under his demands during the COVID pandemic. He knows nothing about how to handle a public health crisis,” commented Diane Gramley, president of the AFA of PA.
Richard Levine began “transitioning” in about 2005. He was previously married and has a son and a daughter. With a base salary of $155,879 as PA Secretary of Health, his COVID policies have resulted in businesses going under, public gatherings prohibited, hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians being out of work, travel restrictions, stay-al-home orders, students limited to virtual learning, nursing home residents dying at an alarming rate. Although issuing all sorts of directives to protect Pennsylvanians from COVID-19, on October 7th Levine issued a “Safer Sex and COVID-19” guide which advised to “Limit the number of partners,” “Try to identify a consistent sex partner,” “Ask partners outside your home about COVID-19 status before you meet and engage in sex,” etc. More can be found here
“The incompetent way in which the coronavirus was handled by Dr. Levine has resulted in calls for his resignation from state legislators, county coroners, as well as the AFA of PA. He pulled his mother out of a York County nursing home before ordering nursing homes to take residents even if they tested positive for COVID-19. The US House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis noted that as a result of Levine’s policy over three percent of PA’s nursing home population had died — and that was on June 25th! As of today, even though nursing homes remain locked down, 10,041 nursing home residents in PA have died of COVID-19. His policies have proven tragic for Pennsylvanians and now Biden wants to give him a promotion! This is outrageous”, further commented Gramley.
