The country of 250 years ago looked much different than the country does today, not only the fact we are much larger and have over three hundred million people, but our views about God have changed drastically. While 250 years ago almost 100 percent of those living in this country believed there is an all-powerful, all-knowing God, that has now changed. We must ask how and why.
