September 11, 2001 – do you remember where you were when you first heard the news of the attacks on the Twin Towers, then the Pentagon and then the news came that one of the hijacked planes had gone down in a field near Shanksville? I believe every American who was old enough to remember does remember their exact location they were when that news was broadcast. As we remained glued to the TV screen or radio that day, the words terrorist attacks quickly became part of the conversation. We were under attack by Islamic terrorists.
