Co-sponsorship Memos to Define Drag Performances as Adult Oriented Businesses Circulating

Details

Efforts are underway in both the State House and the State Senate to protect children from the increasingly common occurrence of drag performances being presented in their presence.

Senator Doug Mastriano (R-33) and State Rep Aaron Bernstine (R-8) are circulating co-sponsorship memos to “classify drag shows as an ‘adult-oriented business’ under Title 68. This would limit the location of such a performance, the age of the intended audience, etc.

Action Steps

Ask your State Senator to become a co-sponsor with Senator Mastriano. Ask your State Rep to become a co-sponsor with Rep. Bernstine. Click here to contact them.
