How PA Members of Congress Voted on the National Defense Authorization Act

Details

Yesterday the US House sent the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to President Biden’s desk by a 310-118 vote – 45 Democrats voted ‘nay’ and 73 Republicans voted ‘nay’.

Remember this bill still contains taxpayer funded travel for military personnel and their families to travel to get an abortion.  It also has so-called gender affirming care for military personnel paid for by the taxpayers and it extends the use of FISA courts.  According to Congressman Jim Jordan, it gives the federal government a license to use the military, Department of Homeland Security and the FBI to surveil, wiretap, detain, arrest and or imprison Americans in off-shore prison camps under the “suspicion” that they may be a “domestic terrorist”.

Here’s how PA’s Members of Congress voted:

Brendan Boyle (PA-2) — Yea

Matthew Cartwright (PA-8) — Yea

Madeleine Dean (PA-4) – Yea

Christopher Deluzio (PA-17) — Yea
