Your Tax Dollars Advertising LGBTQ+ Events!

As mentioned in this Saturday’s E-Newsletter, your tax dollars are being used to promote “LGBTQ+ pride” events this year!  How, you may ask – through the state agency “Visit PA” website!  Scroll down on the home page and you’ll find “Pennsylvania Pride Events and Festivals”, tucked in between “Minor League Baseball Teams in Pennsylvania” and “Must-Visit Drive-in Theatres for Your Summer Movie Nights”.   

Action Steps:

If you don’t want your tax dollars used for such advertising, contact Kaitie Burger, Executive Director, Visit PA at kaburger@pa.gov or call the Tourism office at 800-237-4363 to voice your concerns.

You can also contact your State Senator and State Rep and inform them that your tax dollars should not be used to advertise any ‘gay pride’ activities!
