So many questions still surround the events of January 6, 2021, but one thing is quite evident – it WAS NOT an attempt to overthrow the government. It was not an “insurrection”. In reality, that was quite evident on that day four years ago. How could an unarmed crowd of people hope to overthrow the US government? More questions arose as videos surfaced of Capital police moving barriers and opening doors to allow people to enter the Capital. In some videos, Capital police appeared to act as tour guides leading people through the Capital. People calmly walking between the velvet ropes in Statutory Hall taking pictures is not how one envisions insurrectionists.
