February 22, the birthday of the first President of the United States, the father of our country – George Washington. What was the man really like? I mean students in US public schools are being taught he was not a good man. Wikipedia describes him as a ‘soldier and slaveowner’. I remember being taught in school he chopped down a cherry tree when he was a boy and he could not lie when his father asked him if he had done it. I really don’t remember much else, so who was he really. Was he a deist as they say?

Minneapolis and student walkouts around the country have been in the news recently. Their reason: ICE — Immigration and Customs Enforcement – efforts to remove illegal aliens. Many Americans are asking whether these actions are spontaneous or are they orchestrated. Student walkouts- well they are being taught to be activist by the public schools, but do they really understand what they are protesting – especially elementary kids! But those protestors in Minneapolis and elsewhere – how did they know where and when to go? Don’t they have jobs? Who’s paying for them and all their signs and equipment?
