Vote! Vote! Vote! Every election is critical and this off-year election is no different. Your vote will determine which names appear on November’s General Election ballot. As soon to be US President James Garfield said in 1877, “Now more than ever the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption.” That thinking applies to all level of government — from the school board to the Presidency!

President Trump has declared a national emergency in order to build the wall along the southern border, however many in Congress are not happy with this decision.
