Nowadays one doesn’t have to look into the education issue long before coming across the term social emotional learning or SEL. It sounds benign enough and kids definitely need help in learning – just look at the declining test scores. How many parents or even school board members know what SEL is? Is it really just a new teaching method in a long line of teaching methods or is it much more and are our kids once again being used as guinea pigs in yet another social experiment?

The guy who was the vice chair of Philadelphia’s Board of Elections in November 2020 and told the nation everything in Philly was above board during that election is now PA’s Secretary of State! The full Senate did not vote, but allowed the calendar to “play out”. However, the Senate State Government Committee did vote and only one voted ‘nay.’
