Action Alert: Homosexuals Target Fayette County Church

The week before Memorial Day the Apostolic Holiness Church in Connellsville (Fayette County) placed what some considered hateful and offensive wording on their outside sign. In fact, it was so hate-filled and offensive to them that they picketed the church on May 27th to show their displeasure. What would a church place on their outside sign that could be so offensive? The sign declared one man one woman marriage as “God’s Way.”

News Release: President Issues “Pride Proclamation”

Late afternoon on Friday came the under-the-radar-screen Presidential Proclamation declaring June as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month. From his May 9th announcement supporting same-sex so-called marriage to this pride month proclamation, President Obama continues to move away from the mainstream of America. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide traditional values group, has two questions (1) why would any politician turn his or her back on so many American voters? and (2) the homosexual lifestyle-what is there to be proud of?

News Release: Three PA Congressmen Vote for Genocide

Yesterday the US House failed to get a 2/3 vote majority in order to ban abortions due to the baby being “the wrong sex.” HR 3541 would have made it a federal offense to knowingly perform a sex-selection abortion or coerce a woman into such a procedure, or to transport a woman across state lines or into the United States to obtain a sex-selection abortion. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) is deeply troubled by the failed attempt to obtain the required 2/3 vote to pass HR 3541, but is especially troubled to know that three of the PA delegation voted against the bill.

Action Alert: How Did Your Congressman Vote on PRENDA?

The attempt to ban sex selection abortions, the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act HR 3541, failed yesterday by a vote of 246 to 168 with seven Republicans crossing the aisle to vote “Nay.” In the PA delegation, three Democrats — Altmire, Critz and Holden — crossed the aisle and voted ‘Yea.” Remember this vote was under “Suspension of the Rules” and required a 2/3 vote in order to pass.

Action Alert – Vote to Ban Sex Selection Abortions is Today

Today the US House will be voting on a bill to ban abortions simply because the unborn child is “not the right sex.” HR 3541, the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act (PRENDA), sponsored by Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ), has been recently revised and will be considered under “Suspension of the Rules.” This means it will require a two-thirds vote for passage.
