News Release: Susquehanna Township to Vote on Allowing Men to Use Women’s Restrooms

Yesterday the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) once again faxed questions and scenarios for the Susquehanna Township Board of Commissioners to consider before tonight’s vote on a so-called “anti-discrimination” ordinance. We have yet to hear anything from the commissioners. Apparently, they are not willing to address the potential harm that will be done if the ordinance is passed tonight.

Last Thursday Pennsylvania’s US Senators Bob Casey, Jr. and Pat Toomey joined the majority of their fellow Senators and voted ‘yea’ on the National Defense Authorization Act. Since they’ve passed the bill, now we can know what’s in it! It was found that on page 174 of the bill there is a repeal of Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. A repeal of this article will permit sodomy and bestiality in the military.

One week ago today the US Senate voted to approve the National Defense Authorization bill and both of Pennsylvania’s US Senators voted “Yea.” The bill has come under close scrutiny in the days since it passed and it has been exposed that on page 174 of the bill it will repeal the military ban on sodomy and bestiality. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) faxed and emailed both Senator Robert Casey and Senator Pat Toomey asking, ” Did you know that on page 174 of that bill there is a provision that will repeal Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice which bans bestiality and sodomy in the military?”

Congressman Bill Johnson (R-OH) is the lead sponsor of HR 2070, the World War II Memorial Prayer Act of 2011. During a congressional hearing last month the Obama administration announced its objection to this bill which ” . . . direct(s) the Secretary of the Interior to install in the area of the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia a suitable plaque or an inscription with the words that President Franklin D. Roosevelt prayed with the Nation on June 6, 1944, the morning of D-Day.” So . . . the President opposes this!
