Action Alert – The Equality Act – a Direct Assault on Churches and Christian Schools
Passage of HR 5 would forever change America and it would not be for the better. The bill adds sexual orientation and gender identity to the 1964 Civil Rights Act and would equate changeable lifestyle choices — homosexuality and transgenderism — to unchangeable race and ethnicity. Passage of this bill would destroy religious freedom and force churches and Christian schools to ignore what Scripture says about sexuality and marriage or face fines or closure. This bill’s goal has nothing to do with equality, but everything to do with destroying religious freedom.
