North Carolina Lt. Governor Refuses to Back Down as Media Twists His Words
Details
Lt. Governor Mark Robinson is the first black person to ever be elected to that post in North Carolina. Back in June he spoke at the Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove, North Carolina; it took the far Left group Right Wing Watch until this past week to post a clip of his June speech. Cries for Republican Mark Robinson’s resignation have come from Democrat corners around the country, including the White House. So, what is his “crime”?
He said transgenderism and homosexuality should not be taught to children. “There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth. And yes, I called it filth, and if you don’t like that I called it filth, come see me and I’ll explain it to you.” Democrats and the media are accusing Robinson of calling those in the LGBTQ community filth, which he clearly did not. Lt. Governor Robinson responded with a video of his own saying he will not back down and will “continue to fight for the rights of our children to receive an education that is free from sexual concepts that do not belong in the classroom.” In that video he also showed graphic images from books found in North Carolina elementary school libraries. (NOTE: I’m sure they can also be found in some PA elementary school libraries!) Action Steps
It is very rare that a politician will not back down when pressure from those supporting the LGBTQ agenda is placed upon him or her. Lt. Governor Robinson continues to stand strong amid calls for his resignation and protests held outside his Raleigh office. Here’s more info about Lt.
