This should be a ‘no brainer’, but apparently it’s not!  Representative Ryan Mackenzie just began circulating a co-sponsorship memo to “clarify the Pennsylvania Constitution’s voter qualifications provisions in Article VII, Section 1, providing for a more specific prohibition on non-citizens voting in elections at any level in the Commonwealth.”  It will also “update the Pennsylvania Constitution to conform with the 26th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which lowered the voting age to 18 nationally.”

Action Steps

Contact your State Rep and ask him or her to sign on as a co-sponsor to this much needed change.   Voter confidence in the election system is at an all-time low.
