See You at the Pole— SYATP
Details
See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized and student -led event held the fourth Wednesday of September. It began in 1990 with ten students praying at their school. Today’s SYATP involved millions of students praying around their flag pole before school.
The theme this year is “Fix Our Eyes” from Hebrews 12:2 “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

In this world where we see our public school children being used as guinea pigs in the most recent social experiments, they desperately need our prayers.
Action Steps
If you have a child or grandchild in public school, please encourage him or her to participate in the See You at the Pole event at their school. If there’s no event at the school, your student could gather around the flag pole with another student from church or another Christian student. It doesn’t take a crowd to participate in See You at the Pole. As Jesus said, “Where two or more are gathered together in my name, there will I be in their midst.”
If you don’t have a child or grandchild in school, set some time aside on Wednesday to pray for those students and Christian teachers who are in public school. In too many cases, those schools truly have become war zones and indoctrination chambers.
