Beware of Rose Bowl Parade AND Mummers Parade Tomorrow
Details
Reasons to boycott viewing these parades:
1.) From One News Now -” The 2014 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, will feature the “wedding” of two men and will take place aboard a float sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Millions of television viewers around the world as well as the hundreds of thousands along the parade route will see Aubrey Loots and Danny Leclair take wedding vows on a float that will celebrate same-sex marriage and proclaim that same-sex marriage helps reduce new HIV infections among homosexual men.”
2.) Last year the Mummers permitted cross-dressing men to officially be part of the annual parade. This year they will lead the parade and will be performing at the preferred-seating area at A-Stand! There will be 11 drag queens, six drag kings and a number of transgender performers. Additionally, the Philadelphia Freedom Band, made up of homosexual members, will be one of the first groups at the head of the parade and will perform Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”
Are these parades really family-friendly entertainment? What messages are the organizers of these parades sending to the viewing audience?
