1.) Independent farmer Amos Miller’s farm in Lancaster County was served a search warrant and three PA State Troopers, as well as seven employees of the PA Department of Agriculture removed 37 items and left a notice on a large walk-in cooler, which contains most of Miller’s products, that the food in the cooler “has been detained by the PA Department of Agriculture”. His attorney noted that a high-ranking state official that has a grievance with independent farmers is responsible for obtaining the search warrant.
