The Protect Women’s Sports Bill Has Been Reintroduced

Details

How much more evidence do we need that allowing men to play in women’s sports spells a major disadvantage to women?  Since such as been allowed, we’ve seen records set by female athletes be destroyed by men who claim they are really women.  A perfect example is right here in PA, with U Penn’s “Lia” Thomas breaking all records in college swimming.  Steps must be taken to stop this insanity.

The ACLU calls such steps “dangerous”, according to them: Such legislation would have “detrimental and potentially devastating effects on the health of young trans Pennsylvanians.”

However, State House members are once again making the effort to protect women’s sports.  As they note in their co-sponsorship memo:  “The opportunity for girls to compete on a level playing field must be protected.  Title IX was designed to stop discrimination and create equal athletic opportunities for women. However, allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports reverses nearly 50 years of advancement for women.”
