Why is such a debate going on as to whether non-citizens should be allowed to vote in our elections? Why is this same debate going on as to whether we should be required to present evidence that we are citizens before we register to vote? And, how about that decades long debate about showing photo ID in order to vote? Why haven’t politicians taken steps to address these issues or is there a concerted effort to influence elections by allowing non-citizens and even those here illegally to vote in our elections.

July 4, 1776 the signing of the Declaration of Independence – 250 years ago this July our nation has a birthday. Granted the laying out of our grievances with King George and the signing of the Declaration was only the beginning, we had several years of fighting to actually achieve the independence declared on July 4, 1776. However, the Founding Fathers continually sought the God of the Universe through this whole process. They understood that He must be the foundation in order for this new nation to succeed.
