Since the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, while three others did nothing to intervene, rioting has taken place in most major US cities, to the point where, I believe, most have forgotten the name of George Floyd. We’ve seen the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter group as they, alongside Antifa, engaged in rioting, vandalism and wanton destruction of property from torching police stations to toppling statues. Their demands for racial equality and justice have been lost in the violence and their calls for defunding and abolishing the police. Now, sports leagues have jumped on the band wagon.
