In more than 40 nations around the world today Christians are being persecuted for their faith. Five of these countries-Cuba, North Korea, China, Vietnam and Ethiopia have been on Voice of the Martyrs’ list of restricted nations for more than 30 years. In some of these nations it is illegal to own a Bible, to share your faith Christ, change your faith or teach your children about Jesus. Those who boldly follow Christ—in spite of government edict or radical opposition—can face harassment, arrest, torture and even death.

Action Alert – More Comprehensive Voter Guide Available

General Election is next Tuesday, November 3rd. How important is this election? Well, we’ll be voting for three PA Supreme Court judges, one Superior Court judge and one Commonwealth Court judge as well as many county-wide and school board races. Additionally, voters in the 37th Senate District, covering parts of Allegheny County and Peters Township in Washington County, will be voting in a special election.

Action Alert – Debt “Deal” is Bad Deal!

Late this afternoon the US House passed the boondoggle budget agreement crafted in secret between leadership and the White House. The vote was 266 yeas to 167 nays. All Democrats voted for the bill. Only 79 Republicans voted for it, including PA’s Ryan Costello, Charlie Dent, Mike Fitzpatrick, Ted Meehan, Bill Shuster and Glenn Thompson.
