AFA of PA ACTION ALERT

July 29, 2010

Issues

Update on Coudersport

Details

As you may recall yesterday the AFA of PA issued a news release about the showing of the homosexual propaganda piece “Out in the Silence” which falsely accuses the AFA of PA of encouraging the bullying of students who identify as homosexual and of calling for the boycott of a lesbian owned business.  Click here to read the news release for more details.

Well, the reports have come back and, as is typical, the ones crying for tolerance the loudest are the least tolerant.  Last night at the Coudersport Public Library anyone expressing opinions that did not agree with or who questioned the motives of homosexual activists Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer were silenced.  The purpose of this film is not to create dialogue as it claims, but to create conflict and to push the homosexual agenda.   Click here to read the first hand account from a local reporter  and here for a local pastor’s response to the controversy.

Action Steps

1.)    Pray for Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer

2.)    Is “Out in the Silence” showing near you? Click here for upcoming screenings.  How will you respond?  Click here for some additional background and copies of the AFA of PA letters referred to in the film.

    Coming Out in Smalltown USA
As the expected smears & attacks against OUT IN THE SILENCE & LGBT People & Our Allies in Venango County finally come from Diane Gramley of the American 'Family' Assoc. of PA & Jane Richey of 'Christian' Radio Station WAWN / Lighthouse Ministries of Franklin (See item#7 in the June 23 Fishermens Net Newsletter), a recent review of OUT IN THE SILENCE in Christianity Today offers a more reasoned view of what's possible in the quest for fairness & equality for all.

It's time to stand up, speak out, and join with the courageous folks working for change in rural & small town America like never before!]

Generally that site is a content-rich view into the distortions and manipulation engaged in by homosexual activists.

Thanks. Yes, we view this blog as exposing Joe Wilson’s try agenda.

We must stand up for morals and values, period. No doubt about that.

There were so many lies going on in Coudersport, it is still causing problems.

The truth is no one wanted to hear the truth. There were never any threats to the Library or plans for a protest.

The filmakers out right lied to draw attention to themselves and to make the Christian Community of Coudersport look bad.

Coudynews.com did a terrific job covering this film and how those who stir up division and lies on purpose. Things are never as they “appear” to be.

There was a simple genture from the Tea Party and one Pastor, for those who had a concern to gently voice it. Simply that. The flimakers decided to add their own version and make up lies. The community will suffer for this as Church members are now attacking the Pator himself, for somthing he never was guilty of.

It is sickening and a shame that those who claim to want equality are the very one who cause division.

@Terry Wankel- good points but you need to look deeper. Yes, Smethport and Emporium are small towns. But they are also COUNTY SEATS. This is not mere happenstance.

    Look at Wilson’s website:
    http://wpsu.org/outinthesilence/screenings_index
Note the rest of the screenings that have taken place or are scheduled. All but one or two of those ‘small towns’ just happen to be COUNTY SEATS (the seat of County Government) too.

This propaganda and the false negative publicity they generate around it are designed to soften up public opinion amongst the gullible populace and the legislators. This is a prelude to when, not far in the future, Stephen A Glassman through his operatives in the homosexual activist community, petitions the County government to enact a protective ordinance for homosexuals and transgenders.

They are in the final stages of getting one in Doylestown and have just laid the groundwork in Lower Merion Township (Montgomery County) and Radnor Township (Delaware County) They are working feverishly in Lancaster County too.

So don’t breathe a sigh of relief that this event has come and gone for Coudersport. It has only just begun for you guys. I have no problem with homosexuals going about their business either. But when you see the manipulative propaganda they employ and the lies they use to hype it up, you cannot help but question their sincerity and what their total mission really is.

NOTE: For those unaware Franklin PA also JUST HAPPENS TO BE the COUNTY SEAT of VENANGO COUNTY.

Forewarned is forearmed. Wake up and see the big picture of what is taking place. The force of law is on it’s way.

And I’m not talking about what the homosexual progandists restricted their film to: homosexuals being bullied and attacked, etc. Most people are as appalled by that as I am and would have no problem with laws to prevent it.

But mere tolerance is not what the ‘LGBT’s are after. That is just part of the story. In Stephen A Glassman’s own words “I don’t want to be tolerated. I don’t want to be put up with. I want to be celebrated.”

Well, the Harrisburg Patriot News picked up the Coudersport story.
    http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2010/07/potter_county_library_challeng.html

The article states, “Several churches in Potter County launched a campaign to force the local library to cancel, and the president of the Potter County Tea Party called for the library’s funding to be revoked if it didn’t comply.”

Yet the local Coudersport reporter who was shut out of the screening says the head librarian told him they received TEN phone calls — five for and five against the film. Doesn’t sound like a campaign!

The TEA Party president has since apologized saying he was opposing the film as an individual and should not have used his TEA Party e-mail address when submitting a post to a local blog. The TEA Party was not involved whatsoever.

Are the filmmakers helping create the negative publicity in an attempt to make an example of Coudersport so concerned people in other areas wouldn’t speak out for fear of the same type treatment?
